Welcome to London (and Christmas in New York)

We updated our website with photos of our trip to London. It was so much fun to see Amry & Dave. And it was a blast going to London. We saw Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the Inns of Court, the London Eye, the Globe Theatre, the West End, Borough Market, London Bridge, etc. London was great! Then we stayed at a B&B near Amry and Dave in the country. They live in such a pretty area. Lots of rolling hills, trees, and quaint, old homes. Amry and Dave also took us to this amazing country pub, where we ate fish & chips and traditional English roast dinner (complete with Yorkshire pudding).

Also, don't forget to check out photos from our amazing Christmas in New York. We saw the MoMA, the Met, the Tenement Museum, Dutch Christmas Carols at St. John the Divine, and we loved it. Here's a few photos to whet your appetite for more viewing of family fun:

The Land of Our Heritage

Guess what, everybody?! We're taking advantage of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with a quick trip across the pond to visit Daniel's sister and brother-in-law, Amry and Dave. (Apparently flights to London are a lot less expensive in the dead of winter... imagine that.) We just thought it would be a great opportunity to see a bit of London on the cheap (our diet while there will mostly consist of Pop Tarts brought from home) and visit with family that we rarely get to see, before the baby comes -- eventually.
Love you and miss you all!

Our Christmas in Rexburg

Well, since the rest of you spent Christmas together, we'll show you what we were doing. Christmas Eve involved LOTS of snow ALL day. That morning we went on a sleigh ride. This guy has a couple Clydesdale horses and basically a trailer thing with skis. The horses even had jingle bells on! We had a good time just going around the neighborhood. We all thought Zoie (4) would love it, but by the end she didn't even want to be in the group photo. That's her in the front being forced.

In the first photo we were being cheezy and silly, but it kinda just looks like we didn't know what we were doing :)

Further down, is AJ's parents' home

On Christmas day we went sledding! It was Ashlee(pink), Jared(blue) and his fiancee Jenni(light blue), AJ(black), and I(purple). AJ shows off the frozen snow in his beard. AJ tried jumping just me, then Ashlee and I, and then he jumped all three of us girls. It was pretty fun. Then I got to jump AJ. Piece of cake :)

It's a lot of photos, but then, no one else has been posting anything so....
